MK Synergy Conference
MK Synergy is a joint conference between MK Caregivers Summit (MKCS) and MK Educators Summit (MKES). This combined conference allows for cross pollination between the two conferences. There will be workshop tracks for both educators and MK Advisors. The goal of the event is to foster networking, encourage each other, share resources, process the latest research, and brainstorm strategies together.
I will present a workshop on TCK/MK debriefing/processing tools.
FIGT Global Online Forum
The Families in Global Transition online forum, Talking Across Divides: Communicating Through Differences, reflects a timely and essential conversation for our globally mobile community.
Jemina Watstein and I will be presenting Exploring Identity and Belonging: Using Art to Create Visual Narratives, an interactive workshop exploring how the question “Where are you from?” Through hands-on art-making and discussion, participants will discover how creative expression fosters empathy and connection across cultures. Using visuals, breakout groups, and dialogue, the presenters model how art can communicate beyond words, bridging linguistic and cultural divides, particularly for Third Culture Kids.

Families in Global Transition: “Let’s Talk” Panel Presentation: Participants will explore the personal, powerful world of letter writing across borders, cultures, and identities with contributors to the new book Letters Now Sent: A Collection of Letters from the Globally Mobile. Learn about the recipients of these contributors' letters, why they chose them, the deeper intentions behind their words, as well as the result of their letters.
